Yes. SafeLine Tape has a P5 slip resistance rating, this means it’s suited for use in both wet and dry conditions. Like all adhesive tape products, the longevity of the product in wet conditions will depend on the specific application.

SafeLine tape comes with a Peel&Stick pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing so it is easily installed on almost any surface. Measure and cut the tape to the appropriate length. Ensure the surface is clean and dry, mark the required position of the tape on the surface, ensuring it’s parallel to the stair edge, peel back the tape backing, and apply the tape to the surface.

We recommend the tape is installed 10mm from the leading edge of the stair tread, this provides maximum safety as it covers the area where most foot traffic occurs, and also highlights the stair edge for those with vision impairments.

As a product with a grit surface, SafeLine tape will naturally collect dust and dirt. To ensure your anti slip tape continues to perform well into the future, we recommend brushing of any dirt on a weekly basis using a stiff bristled brush.
